Advanced qualifications – level 6 Diploma in Financial Advice

The Adv DipFA® is a level 6 qualification leading to Chartered Status with The London Institute of Banking and Finance.

It builds on the Level 4 Diploma in Financial Advice (DipFA®) (which you must have before commencing this programme, or an equivalent qualification) to equip you with the expertise you need to provide complex financial advice and planning services to clients.

The programme covers four modules that take you through to receiving your Advanced Diploma. You can either sign up to the full programme or individual modules.

How is the Level 6 Diploma in Financial Advice taught?

Training is delivered via a mixture of face-to-face training days and virtual classrooms. You will also have access to our Learning Management System and receive regular report cards to provide an update on your progress.

There is a big focus on exam preparation through the training. This is because, for many advisers, it’s been a while since they’ve had to study. So, getting back into the swing of doing exams is key.

The training covers academic material, test questions, how to apply knowledge to written exams and specific exam preparation. We focus on bringing the technical content to life and relating things to the real world. This is because people learn most efficiently when the training is practical and realistic.

The blended training programme brings you that step closer to achieving exams for specific licenced areas of business, such as Pension Transfers and Long Term Care and Later Life Planning.
