If you would like to become an adviser, we have three programmes to choose from, depending on the type of financial advice you want to provide. You do not need any prior financial services experience or qualifications to apply for any of these three programmes.
All the qualifications that you will gain by studying with us are provided by the London Institute of Banking and Finance (LIBF).
Mortgage and protection products
Certificate in Mortgage Advice and Practice (CeMAP®) programme
Maximum cost*: £1,500 (Equivalent to £83 per week)
Duration: 18 weeks
Average earnings once qualified**:
Trainee: £18,000 - £22,000
Experienced: £50,000 - £70,000
Retail investment products
Diploma for Financial Advisers (DipFA®) programme
Maximum cost*: £6,500 (Equivalent to £216 per week)
Duration: 30 weeks
Average earnings once qualified**:
Trainee: £25,000 - £30,000
Experienced: £50,000 - £100,000
Mortgage and retail investment products
Diploma for Financial Advisers (DipFA®) and Certificate in Mortgage Advice and Practice (CeMAP®) combined programme
Maximum cost*: £7,000 (Equivalent to £179 per week)
Duration: 39 weeks
Average earnings once qualified**:
Trainee: £25,000
Experienced: £70,000 - £100,000
* Costs can differ depending on individual circumstances, so please get in touch with us to confirm how much you will pay. The programme can be self-funded or paid for by employer sponsorship. If you don’t already have a work placement we may be able to help you to secure a placement with a firm who could sponsor your learning.
