Flexible payment options

If you need us to, we’ll try to help you find an adviser firm to sponsor your training from the outset. If we're successful in finding you a sponsor for your training, the cost to you may be removed or reduced. You may prefer, however, to fund your own training; the details are outlined below.

Self-funding your training

Route 1 – Full training programme (DipFA® and CeMAP®)

  • Includes soft skills, adviser skills and business skills
  • Includes the starting qualification ‘FSRE’ (exam exemption for those already holding this or the RO1 qualification)
  • You will attain the Diploma for Financial Advisers (DipFA®) and the Certificate in Mortgage Advice and Practice (CeMAP®) qualifications
  • Suitable if you want to be able to give full financial advice

The total cost is £7,000. A payment of £1,000 is paid before the programme commences, and the remaining £6,000 balance is spread over 15 months. The first payment is due 1 month after studying begins.

Route 2 – DipFA® only programme

  • As route 1 but designed if you already have the CeMAP® qualification

The total cost is £7,000. A payment of £1,000 is paid before the programme commences, and the remaining £6,000 balance is spread over 15 months. The first payment is due 1 month after studying begins.

Route 3 – CeMAP® only programme

  • Includes soft skills and adviser skills
  • Includes the starting qualification ‘FSRE’ (exam exemption for those already holding this or the RO1 qualification)
  • You will attain the Certificate in Mortgage Advice and Practice (CeMAP®) qualification
  • Suitable for if you want to be a Mortgage and Protection Adviser

The total cost is £2,500 which is due before the programme commences.

Route 4 – Adv DipFA® programme

  • This will include Pension Transfers, Long Term Care and Later Life Planning, Managing Investments and Taxation, Trusts and Tax Compliance
  • It can be studied as a full programme or you can opt for individual module(s) that bring you that step closer to achieving exams for specific licensed areas of business, such as Pension Transfers and Long Term Care and Later Life Planning
  • Suitable for those who already have their Level 4 Diploma and are looking to advance their qualifications

The total cost is £5,500 and is paid for prior to each module commencing. The breakdown of costs is as follows:

  • Pension Transfers £1,500
  • Long Term Care and Later Life Planning £1,500
  • Manging Investments £1,250
  • Taxation, Trusts and Tax Compliance £1,250
