What does the school do?

Training to become an adviser

At the end of 58 weeks, the Financial Adviser School provides learners with the necessary skills and qualifications to launch into their new career as a financial adviser. Learners who enter the programme with no prior experience of the financial services industry will be given the chance to be introduced to advice firms who are looking to hire new staff. These introductions can happen before, during, or after the programme.

Training for advanced qualifications - Level 6 Diploma in Financial Advice

Our structured diploma programme is designed to help advisers wishing to further their qualifications to attain the Adv DipFA®, a level 6 qualification leading to Chartered Status with The London Institute of Banking and Finance. The full programme covers four modules, including Pension Transfers and Long Term Care and Later Life Planning, or individual modules can be studied in isolation. With an emphasis on exam skills, the focused programme equips practising advisers with the expertise to provide complex financial advice.

Our services for advice firms

We work in partnership with advice firms to either train existing members of their staff, or to help identify and place suitable Financial Adviser School learners within their business. The benefits of this are two-fold; principals of advice firms have an opportunity to recruit an individual who, once trained, will be a skilled, qualified, and motivated new adviser, and learners benefit from a clear and sponsored career path, with a firm dedicated to encouraging and developing them.
