Our Adv DipFA® programme builds on the Level 4 Diploma in Financial Advice (DipFA®) (or equivalent qualification) to equip you with the expertise you need to provide complex financial advice and planning services to clients.
The programme covers four modules that take you through to receiving your Advanced Diploma. You can either sign up to the full programme or to the individual modules.
|Pension Transfers||Written exam|
|Long Term Care and Later Life Planning||Multiple choice exam|
|Managing Investments||Coursework and written exam|
|Taxation, Trusts and Tax Compliance||Coursework and written exam|
The training covers academic material, test questions, how to apply knowledge to written exams and specific exam preparation. We focus on bringing the technical content to life and relating things to the real world, as people learn most efficiently when the training is practical and realistic.
This blended training programme brings you that step closer to achieving exams for specific licensed areas of business, such as pension transfers and long term care and later life planning.
Programme details and costs
The time taken to complete the programme depends on the modules selected – the programme can be completed in full, or you can choose to complete only the modules relevant to you.
You will be expected to undertake around 10.5 hours of study per week per module, including tutor-led sessions which may be online or face-to-face.
The location of the face-to-face tutorials depends on where the majority of students are based, but typically take place in London or Manchester. Both the face-to-face and webinar tutorials are during normal working hours, so you may need to make arrangements with your employer to attend these sessions. All the webinars are recorded so they can be accessed in your own time.
Whilst attendance is not mandatory for every live webinar and face-to-face tutorial, we strongly encourage all students to attend as many of these as possible. The face-to-face tutorials are particularly important as they cover preparation for coursework and exams.
The total cost for completing all modules is £5,500 and is paid for prior to each module commencing. The breakdown of costs is as follows:
- Pension transfers: £1,500
- Long term Care and later life planning: £1,500
- Manging investments: £1,250
- Taxation, trusts and tax compliance: £1,250
