Our programmes

Find the programme that is right for you

If you would like to become an adviser, we have three programmes to choose from, depending on the type of financial advice you want to provide. You do not need any prior financial services experience or qualifications to apply for any of these three programmes.

All the qualifications that you will gain by studying with us are provided by the London Institute of Banking and Finance (LIBF).

I want to advise on mortgage and protection products


Choose our Certificate in Mortgage Advice and Practice (CeMAP®)  programme



Max cost: £2,500 (Equivalent to £96 per week)*

26 weeks part-time

Can be self-funded or paid for by employer sponsorship**

Average earnings once qualified:
Trainee: £18 - £22,000
Experienced: £50 - £70,000***

I want to advise on retail investment products



Choose our Diploma for Financial Advisers (DipFA®) programme




Max cost: £7,500 (Equivalent to £149 per week)*

47 weeks part-time

Can be self-funded or paid for by employer sponsorship**

Average earnings once qualified:
Trainee: £25,000
Experienced: £50 - £100,000***

I want to advise on both mortgage and protection and retail investment products

Choose our Certificate in Mortgage Advice and Practice (CeMAP®) and Diploma for Financial Advisers (DipFA®) combined programme



Max cost: £7,500 (Equivalent to £121 per week)*

58 weeks part-time

Can be self-funded or paid for by employer sponsorship**

Average earnings once qualified:
Trainee: £25,000
Experienced: £70 - £100,000***

Level 6 Diploma in Financial Advice

If you are already a qualified financial adviser who holds the Level 4 Diploma in Financial Advice (or equivalent) and are looking to advance your skills, we offer the Level 6 Advanced Diploma in Financial Advice (Adv DipFA®). This qualification builds on your existing skills and knowledge and is the pathway to Chartered Financial Planner status.

Each of our programmes provides a rich and blended learning experience to help you to achieve success. You can benefit from:

  • in-depth tuition, both face-to-face and via weekly virtual classrooms
  • regular assessments to test knowledge and identify any gaps
  • recommendation areas of self-study in between organised training sessions
  • agendas for one-to-one meetings with your employer/training sponsor (if applicable)
  • learning not only the technical knowledge but also the skills and behaviours needed to thrive in your career
  • we offer help and guidance after you graduate.

Whether you secure a work placement in a financial adviser firm to support you whilst you study or are already employed and studying to progress your career, each programme is designed to flex around work commitments.
